Brighton Neighbors United presented its annual Beautification Award to Sue Stekl, owner of the Eleventh Hour gift shop at Twelve Corners Plaza on Monday, June 14.
The neighborhood group felt that the gift shop, which moved to Brighton in September, is an attractive store.
“We are thrilled that you are here,” said Judy Schwartz, chairperson of Brighton Neighbors United. “You have added elegance and a service that we need and it’s just a joy to have you here.”
“It’s wonderful; we’re very appreciative of it and the neighbors have made us feel very welcome,” said Stekl. “And we hope to be here for a long time.”
Stekl has owned Eleventh Hour for 19 years, which formerly was located off of Park Avenue in Rochester. She said the Brighton location offers a bigger space and has more traffic and visibility.
