Teens-N-Tots Preschool, previously housed in the Lois E. Bird School in East Rochester, is now in operation at its original location in the Monroe BOCES Foreman Center, 41 O’Connor Road, Fairport.
BOCES is offering this preschool program in conjunction with the high school-aged early childhood education program at the Eastern Monroe Career Center (EMCC), thus the name Teens-N-Tots. EMCC offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get a head start on college and career plans by participating in rigorous, real-world learning and while still in high school.
The primary goal of the Teens-N-Tots is to further the development of youngsters, ages three to four, socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically. The “teens” and “tots” learn from each other in this model.
Teens-N-Tots Preschool operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Oct. 1, 2012 through June 3, 2013. Registration forms are available on-line at monroe.edu/emccor by calling 585-387-3815.
