The following events are occurring in the Brighton-Pittsford area on Tuesday, Feb. 21:

R.J. Miller Art Exhibit: Rochester Contemporary Art Center, 137 East Ave., Rochester. This exhibit features paintings and sculptures by R.J. Miller, a former professor at Washington State University and at SUNY Brockport. His artworks are always colorful and represent religious pretense, loneliness, guilt and other aspects of the human condition. For more information, contact 585-454-3526, or arjamiller@hotmail.com.

9 a.m., Rochester Finger Lakes Regional Exhibition: Rochester Institute of Technology, 73 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester. This middle and high school exhibition, now through Feb. 29, hosted by RIT's Bevier Gallery, features works from 40 area schools, including those from Webster Schroeder, Rush-Henrietta and Wayland-Cohocton. The exhibit's artwork will also include a film by Linh Truong, a former student at the school of the arts. Admission is free. For more information, call the Bevier Gallery at 585-475-2646.

10 a.m. Leonard Urso exhibit: The Gallery at the Arts & Cultural Council, 277 N. Goodman St., Rochester. This is an exhibit of Leonard Urso's two-dimensional and three-dimensional works.

Noon, Discover the extreme animal kingdom during February break at RMSC: Rochester Museum & Science Center, 657 East Ave., Rochester. "Wild Wings — Birds of Prey." Programs are free, unless otherwise specified, with regular museum admission fee. For group reservations and rates, call 585-697-1942. Programs take place in the museum unless otherwise specified. 12:30 p.m., XRX Pioneer Club: Diplomat Party House, 1 Diplomat Way, Rochester. 12:30 p.m., lunch; 1:30 p.m., bingo. $13.50 for members, $14.50 for guests. Reminder: Bring Dimitri House donations: canned foods and paper products; and Sister Regis Food Ministry donations: cereal, peanut butter, applesauce, rice and pasta.
