About Patricia
Dottore was recently elected as president of the Pittsford Rotary Club for 2010-11. She was a member of the Greece Rotary Club while she lived there, but joined the Pittsford club after she retired and moved into town. “What I love about the Pittsford club is it’s like a family,”
Dottore said. “It’s a small enough club that everybody knows everybody, you really feel welcomed. It’s a fun group of people to be around.”
Hobbies and interests
Dottore loves working around her garden, reading and traveling. She does a lot of volunteer work with Rotary and on her own as well. One place she volunteers with is Saint’s Place, a part of St. Louis Church. Dottore works in the clothes closet and helps refugees find clothing.
Why do you like living in Pittsford?
“Well, I particularly love where I live because I can walk everywhere — walk to the library, walk to the post office. I love a day like today where I can walk on the canal. It’s just a very friendly town, I love living here.”
