Beginning Thursday, the Brighton-Pittsford Post is sporting a new look and features a number of enhancements to best serve our readers.
The new look includes a more compact, easier-to-read magazine format, as well as more full colorful news and advertising pages.
Brighton-Pittsford reporter Erinn Cain will also be at Pittsford Family Outdoor Movie Night on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. at Thornell Farm Park on 480 Mendon Road to introduce and share the paper with the community.
Come say hi, or share your comments and concerns about the new look.
As always, you can contact Erinn, with story ideas, events or questions at ecain@messengerpostmedia.com.
The new Brighton-Pittsford Post, which continues to be delivered to homes on Thursday at no charge, also includes a stronger news section with an increased emphasis on local issues, people and events that touch our readers' lives; a Schools page that showcases student achievement; and an expanded Sports section that features more stories about local athletes and the events that matter most to readers.
The changes come as a result of a recent reader survey that showed that more than 85 percent of those surveyed liked the easier-to-read magazine format. The survey also found that nearly 90 percent of readers said they were "very satisfied" or "satisfied" with the news, sports and features content of their Post newspaper.
Our commitment to local, quality journalism is stronger than ever. We believe the overall satisfaction numbers reinforce the value of our Post papers with readers and advertisers.
Our new format will help us continue to provide you at no charge the most comprehensive coverage of your neighbors and community.
As always, we welcome your feedback, and we appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve you.
Sincerely,
