After thousands of people in Ontario, Monroe and Wayne counties lost power Monday night during superstorm Sandy, there are still residents in Monroe and Wayne counties without power.
As of 8 a.m. today, 1,491 customers in Monroe County and 87 in Wayne County remain without power, according Rochester Gas & Electric.
