The Penfield girls basketball team defeated Fairport on Tuesday night to clinch its third Monroe County Division I title in the last four seasons.
Megan Malloy scored 16 points to lead the Penfield offense. Lucy Covley recorded 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists while Margot Hetzke added 12 points.
Caroline Dalton tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds for Fairport (10-6). Laura Valente chipped in nine points and five assists.
Penfield improves to 16-0, 12-0 in league competition.
Rush-Henrietta 51,
Canandaigua 40
Dana Watts recorded 23 points and 12 rebounds for Rush-Henrietta in a 51-40 win over Canandaigua.
Morgan Johnson chipped in nine points to help the Royal Comets improve to 11-5.
Janae Guy paced Canandaigua (3-13) with 14 points while Dakotah Savitcheff finished with 10.
Victor 51,
Irondequoit 40
Trailing 23-12 at halftime, Victor used a 23-4 run in the third quarter to gain control of the game and earn a 51-40 win.
Emily Seiter collected 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Blue Devils. Alexis Hutto added 11 points and eight rebounds as Victor improved to 7-9.
Irondequoit (3-13) was led by Savannah Crocetti with 14 points.

Spencerport 25
Maria Jackson finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds to help Hilton defeat Spencerport and improve to 13-3.
Lauren Anten scored nine points, Heather Herbert had eight points and Amy Hasenauer added eight points and nine blocks.
Emily Leone paced Spencerport (5-9) with eight points.

Jessica Blocker tallied 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Brockport to a victory over Greece Olympia.
Megan Lester added 18 points and six assists as the Blue Devils improved to 7-10 on the season.
Kim Chung and Katherine Erbelding both totaled 10 points to lead Greece Olympia. Lauren Chester and Rachel Ross each added six points.

Batavia 45
Kelsey Hurley passed the 1,000-point mark for her career as she finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 steals in a 62-45 win over Batavia.
Nicole Davis added 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Cougars improved to 11-6.
Lisa Redband paced Batavia (13-5) with 13 points. Tiara Filbert scored 10 points while Essence Williams added seven.
Webster Thomas 55,
Webster Schroeder 37
Webster Thomas defeated Webster Schroeder, 55-37, on Tuesday as the Titans held the Warriors to just 13 points in the second and third quarter combined.
Kara Houppert led Thomas with 23 points, four assists and three steals. Candaisy Crawford chipped in nine points to help the Titans improve to 11-5.
Krista Cooley scored nine points for Webster Schroeder (6-10).
Gates Chili 63,
Churchville-Chili 31
The Gates Chili girls basketball team improved to 15-1 with a win over visiting Churchville-Chili.
Kori Bayne-Walker filled up the stat sheet for the Spartans as she finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Cierra Dillard scored 18 points and Shanell Glover added 14.
Nicole Picardo scored 10 points to finish as the only player from Churchville-Chili in double figures.

Paige Hill filled up the stat sheet for Pittsford Mendon as she finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Lauren D'Hont had 15 points and eight rebounds while Abby Williams added 10 points.
Emily Piacentini finished with 15 points to lead the way for Eastridge. Amanda Zaremski followed with 10 points.
Greece Athena 53,
Greece Arcadia 29
Senior Dana Cohan set a new school record in assists for Greece Athena in a win over Greece Arcadia.
Cohan finished with eight assists, giving her 462 for her career, and added 13 points in the victory. Brittany Brown, Shannon Kirkpatrick and Christina Leonardo all added 10 points for the Trojans.
Jolanta Davis totaled 13 points for Greece Arcadia (5-11).
Pittsford Sutherland 61,
Brighton 40
Pittsford Sutherland improved to 11-5 with a win over Brighton.
Liz Greendyke had 26 points to lead the Knights. Audrey Jacobson added 17 points and eight rebounds.
Andrea Stekl scored nine points to lead Brighton (4-12). Kiera Lorenzo and Sara Tullio both added eight points.
FINGER LAKES
Red Jacket 40,
Honeoye 30
Bailey Hixson recorded 20 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots to lead Red Jacket to a victory over Honeoye on Tuesday.
Danielle Ogrodowski added nine points and 16 rebounds as the Indians improved to 13-3, 10-3 in league play.
Tori Gamrod scored 13 points to lead the Honeoye (6-9, 5-8) offense. Taylor Pestle had 11 points and Breanna Bugbee added six points and 13 rebounds.
H-AC 56,
Naples 14
The H-AC girls basketball team remained undefeated on the season with a commanding win over Naples.
Christina Myers led the Wolves with 17 points. Jenny Scudder had 12 points, Abby O'Keefe and Caitlin Richard each scored nine and Aedin Brennan added seven points and seven rebounds to help the team improve to 16-0, 14-0 in league competition.
Kayla VandeSande and Julie Fisher both had four points for Naples (6-10).
WAYNE COUNTY
Gananda 60,
North Rose-Wolcott 25
The Gananda girls basketball team improved to 12-4 with a win over North Rose-Wolcott.
Devin Vogt had 19 points to lead the Blue Panthers. Darci MacFall had 11 points, Kourtney Goebel scored nine and Tiffany Gregoire added eight.
Makayla Webber totaled eight points to pace North Rose-Wolcott (5-12), followed by Kaitee Snell with seven.
Clyde-Savannah 51,
East Rochester 40
Clyde-Savannah defeated East Rochester on Tuesday, using an 18-7 run in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory.
Ariel Luna led the Clyde-Savannah offense with 14 points. Kierra Parker had a 10 point/10 rebound double-double while Alaina Tripp added three points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.
Loren Dunn amassed 13 points for East Rochester (9-7). Mary Burkhart added 12 points while Brianna Fedele, Octavia Garfield and Kristina Renner all chipped in five.
Clyde-Savannah is now 5-11.
Marion 51,
Williamson 37
The Marion girls basketball team ran its season record to 10-6 with a win over visiting Williamson.
Jessa Blondell collected 22 points, nine rebounds, five steals and four blocked shots to lead the Black Knights. McKenzie Beltrone added 13 points while Jamie Vendel chipped in six.
Williamson was led by Allison Hassett with nine points, Carly Bean with eight, Monica Brennan and Daphne Croop each with six.
GENESEE REGION
Alexander 53,
Byron-Bergen 46
Alexander defeated Byron-Bergen on Tuesday to even its record at 8-8 on the season.
Julia Pettys scored 22 points to lead the Alexander offense. Sarah Loranty contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Byron-Bergen (11-5) was led by Courtney Amesbury with 22 points. Rachel Winter chipped in 11 points while Kiersten Richenberg added eight.
Pembroke 39,
Holley 25
Breanna Johnson filled up the stat sheet for Pembroke as she finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, nine steals and two blocked shots in a win over Holley.
Randi Dellapenta contributed eight points and eight rebounds to help the Dragons run their season record to 10-6.
Amber Kenyon scored 16 points for Holley (3-13) followed by Samantha Barniak with five. Both Kenyon and Barniak recorded nine rebounds.
Oakfield-Alabama 48,

The Oakfield-Alabama girls basketball team improved to 10-6 with a victory over Attica.
Sarah McCracken had a game-high 25 points to pace the Hornets. Hannah Dunlap added 10 points while Emily McCracken finished with three points, six assists and 11 steals.
Jackie James scored six points to lead Attica.
Wheatland-Chili 31,
Kendall 28
overtime
Mariana Crevison drained two free throws with 25 seconds left in overtime to lift Wheatland-Chili to an overtime win over Kendall.
Crevison finished with 11 points to lead the Wildcats. Megan Contant had eight points and Taylor Clar chipped seven.
For Kendall, Abbey David and Jordan Helms each finished with eight points.

Wilson 50
The East girls basketball team improved to 14-3 on the season with a win over Wilson.
Tyra Jones amassed 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Orientals. Aaliyah Dunbar added 20 points and 11 assists and Rose Ayala chipped in 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Shiy Goins led Wilson with 17 points, followed by Krystal Hunter with 14 and Mykeisha Crawford with 13.

Aquinas 52,

The Aquinas girls basketball team defeated Mercy for its fifth consecutive win.
Nicole Binin scored a game-high 23 points to lead Aquinas (9-7). Abby White and Michelina Mowry both chipped in 11 points.
Samantha Sorge paced Mercy with 15 points, followed by Danielle Naylon with 13 and Tylar Guerrieri with six.
NON-LEAGUE
Greece Odyssey 51,
Edison 24
Greece Odyssey improved to 10-6 on the season with a win over visiting Edison.
Karissa Birthwright led the Leopards with 26 points and eight rebounds. Michayla Salatel added eight points and Taylor Burns chipped in four points and nine rebounds.
Detuana Henry had seven points to lead Edison (1-13). Tanisha Barr followed with six points.

Alex Flint had 17 points to lead the Keshequa girls basketball team to a victory over Wellsville.
Gabrielle DiAngelo finished with 16 points while Kristen Jackson and Shannon Gordinier each chipped in 11 points.
Brittany Messler had a game-high 19 points to lead Wellsville (13-3), followed by Allie Whitehouse with 10.

The Waterloo boys basketball team traveled to Pal-Mac to face the Red Raiders on Friday night and went home with a 52-45 win to improve to 4-11 on the season.
Brad Steinruck scored 16 points for Waterloo to lead a balanced attack. Tim Yound had 13 points, Brandon Frank scored 11 and Zarrien Sloan added 10.
Derek Wager finished with a game-high 21 points to lead Pal-Mac (10-5). Cody Argus added 10 points.
Wayne 73,
Penn Yan 51
Tre LaMora tallied 22 points, 10 steals and five assists to lead Wayne to a victory over visiting Penn Yan.
Connor Hollenbeck had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Paul Dinehart added 11 points as the Eagles improved to 12-3.
Dylan Yonts paced Penn Yan with 13 points, followed by Shane Bloom with 10.

Mason Jones scored 15 points to lead Midlakes in a win over Marcus Whitman.

Merritt Bailey led Marcus Whitman with 18 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots.

Leading 30-25 to begin the third quarter, Geneva outscored Newark 26-11 in the second half to earn the win.
Shane Sweeney totaled 16 points to lead Geneva while Jordan Donahue had 13. The duo combined to knock down seven 3-point field goals.
Josh Williams had a game-high 17 points for Newark (7-8).
Geneva improves to 11-4.

Cal-Mum 67,

Steve Gaffney collected 28 points, seven assists and three steals to lead Cal-Mum over Dansville.
Madison Suhr added 12 point to help the Red Raiders improve to 9-7 on the season.
Mithchell Lamerson had a game-high 33 points to lead Dansville (5-10), including 14 of 18 from the charity stripe. Geoffrey VanDunk added three points and 12 rebounds.

The Hornell boys basketball team improved to 10-5 with a victory over Avon on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders went on a 10-0 run to open the second half, erasing a 6-point deficit.
Dom Scavo knocked down five 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 22 points to lead Hornell. Julian Reinhart had 19 points and Keegan Bradley added 13.
Zachary Mouw had a 15 point/10 rebound double-double for Avon (8-7). Brandon Fuentes scored 17 points and Zachary Pumputis chipped in 11.
York 62,
Pavilion 47
The York boys basketball team clinched the Livingston County Divison III title with a win over Pavilion.
Luke Logsdon led York with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Tyler Shutts added 14 points and Nick Curry chipped in 13.
Alex Jeffres recorded 24 points for Pavilion (6-10, 3-3). Jordan Tillotson added 11 points and Connor Clark chipped in eight.
York improves to 14-3, 7-0 in league play.

Jonathan Blythers recorded a 27 point/10 rebound/10 assists triple-double to lead Edison to a win over McQuaid.
Roderick Jones added 10 points and 11 rebounds to help the Inventors improve to 8-7.
Zak Ayers finished with 17 points for McQuaid (7-9), followed by Duncan Ayer with 11 and Sam Palermo with nine.

Devonte Mayes racked up 34 points, four assists and three steals for Freddie Thomas in a win over School of the Arts.
Jaron Scott scored 15 points while Matt Williams, Willie Mason and Josh Chavez each finished with 10 points. Williams added 10 assists and four steals.
Manny Sierra had 14 points for School of the Arts.

Franklin ran its season record to 14-2 with a victory over Marshall.
Najee Washington amassed 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to lead the Quakers. On'Darious Hamlin added 22 points and 21 rebounds and Jaquon Herring scored 26 points, including six 3-point field goals.
J'Quane Allen scored 24 points for Marshall, followed by Shaiquan Nicholson with 22.
Jefferson 85,
Charlotte 83
Joe Gray poured in a career-high 46 points, pulled down 24 rebounds, dished out six assists and added six steals to lead Jefferson to a win over Charlotte.
The scoring barrage pushed Gray past the 1,000-point mark for his career.
Mike McCloud had 11 points and seven rebounds and Will Graves added 10 points to help Jefferson improve to 8-7.
George Shoat totaled 24 points to pace Charlotte (10-5). Kievonn Banks had 23 points, Devantay Harrington scored 18 points and LaBronze Mays added 10 points.

The East boys basketball team ran its season record to 15-1 with a win over Wilson.
Torrence Dyck collected 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Orientals. Chaquan Wilburn and Darryl Brown each had 14 points while Dimitri Campbell chipped in 11. Brown added 12 rebounds.
Jevis White led Wilson with 18 points. John Lightfoot had 13 points, Nelson Riddle added 11 and Dajar Johnson scored 10.
NON-LEAGUE
Batavia Notre Dame 61,
Mount Morris 44
The Batavia Notre Dame boys basketball team improved to 15-1 with a win over Mount Morris.
Jared Thornton scored 27 points to lead the Irish. Doane McCulley added 16 points while Jared Midwick chipped in eight.
Devon Milford finished with 14 points to pace Mount Morris (7-9). Brad Ferraro scored 12 points and Ben Chesnes added 11 points and 12 rebounds.
HOCKEY

Brighton/East/HF-L 3
The Penfield hockey team defeated Brighton/East/HF-L on Tuesday, scoring the final two goals of the game to earn the win.
Brian Wall scored two goals to lead Penfield. Brien Caron and Andrew Schoeneck each had a goal while Jake Forken added two assists.
Patrick Massey stopped 23 of 26 shots to earn the win in goal.
Jason Boike netted a goal and two assists for Brighton/East/HF-L (5-10-2-1). Michael Finestone and Ernie Clement both added one goal and one assist.
Penfield improves to 6-10-2-1.

Justin Keene made 13 saves for Brockport to lead the Blue Devils over Batavia Notre Dame.
