Rochester General Health System (RGHS) has completed the $40 million purchase of three medical buildings in Linden Oaks Medical Campus.
Announced on Wednesday, RGHS now owns the campus, which contains three medical office buildings on Hagen Drive in Penfield.
The acquisition, first announced in March, also includes a fourth building, located at 360 Linden Oaks Drive, to be used as a new ambulatory surgery center, which will also be expanded by extra 29,000 square feet.
The campus, featuring 190,000 square feet of clinical office space, currently offers a variety of primary and specialty care practices as well as physical/occupational therapy, oncology and laboratory services.
In the future, RGHS will enhance these offerings with an expanded oncology center and a full-service urgent care facility, among other clinical services.
“We’re excited to move forward with our plans for a comprehensive ambulatory campus that that gives patients convenient access to a wide variety of leading-edge clinical services," said Hugh Thomas, senior vice president of ambulatory services and RGHS general counsel.
