A motorcyclist is in the hospital after he was hit by a pickup truck and dragged for about 200 feet.

News10NBC's affiliate, WGRZ in Buffalo, is reporting the crash happened around 8 a.m. Monday on Lewiston Road in Oakfield, Genesee County.

State troopers say the driver of the pickup truck was going over a hill when he rear-ended the motorcycle, which is when the victim and his bike were dragged.

The motorcyclist was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight.

His name and condition have not been released, and there is no word yet on whether the driver of the truck will face any charges.
