A Rush man has pleaded guilty to biting a postal inspector.

52-year-old Mark Joseph Rossel pleaded guilty to assault. Officials say he admits that he bit a U.S. Postal Inspector, causing puncture wounds.

The charge carries a maxium penalty of a year in prison, a $100,000 fine or both.
