An Irondequoit man has been arrested after troopers say he sexually abused a teenage girl.
State Police say that 33-year-old John Licata had sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl in September 2010 in the town of Gorham. Licata has been charged with criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child.
So far there is no information on what led up to Licata's arrest or how he knew the girl.
He is currently being held in the Ontario County Jail.
