A Manchester woman was charged Aug. 31 with second-degree burglary, said Ontario County sheriff’s deputies.
According to police, Katelyn M. Whiteford, 23, of 285 Route 21 lot 36, entered lot 28 of the same address, and allegedly searched through medications inside the mobile home with the intent of stealing them.
She was sent to the Ontario County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond. Canandaigua City Court Judge Stephen Aronson additionally committed Whiteford to jail with no bail for violating her drug court conditions.
She will appear in the Manchester Town Court at 7 p.m. Sept. 5 to answer the burglary charge.
