A teenager from Clifton Springs is dead following a fiery crash in Penfield.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say a car crashed into a utility pole, a tree and then burst into flames. It happened on Jackson Road near State Road around 2 a.m.
Deputies say the driver, 19-year-old David Groff, was ejected from the vehicle and was deceased when emergency crews arrived on the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
