Sunset House, Irondequoit’s comfort care hospice home, is hosting a unique fundraiser, “Love Always,” from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10.

The fund raiser will honor or remember loved ones by the lighting of a luminary on the grounds of Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., that evening. (Rain date is Feb. 13.)

One hundred percent of the evening’s proceeds will support Sunset House’s ability to provide care
for residents in the final stages of an incurable illness.

Anyone who purchases a luminary, $10, for a loved one may attend the event at any time during the evening, or simply know that a candle will burn that day in remembrance or acknowledgment of someone they love.

Purchase luminaries by Feb. 8 by calling (585) 544-4871.
