Campers at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Campus, 809 Five Points Road, Rush, will compete along with Rochester Rotarians in the third annual “Peter’s Pals Putt-Putt Invitational” tournament, which honors Peter D. Formicola, a former Rochester Rotarian and community leader.
“Peter's Pals Putt-Putt Invitational,” which will be held July 25 at 6 p.m., will feature 18 camper teams, each paired with a Rochester Rotarian. Peter Formicola, who passed away in 2010, is a former Monroe County Legislator, director of the Rochester Rotary Charitable Trusts Inc., and president-elect of the Rochester Rotary Club.
Prior to golfing, Rochester Rotary will dedicate a granite plaque to Peter Formicola. Following the Putt-Putt Invitational, participating golfers and their families will enjoy an ice cream social and carnival games.
