Freeze Fest to be held Feb. 3-5 at RIT

The Rochester Institute of Technology will hold its Freeze Fest from Friday, Feb. 3, through Sunday, Feb. 5.

The event will feature several activities, including snow sports, a performance from comedian Donald Glover, a Super Bowl party and more.

The festival will begin Friday, Feb. 3, with a ski and snowboard Rail Jam freestyle competition, and a performance from Gospel artist William McDowell.

Participants will have an opportunity to play on an 80-foot inflatable snow tubing slide, and compete in a Human vs. Zombies tournament on Saturday, Feb. 4. Later in the evening, comedian Donald Glover, known for his role as Troy Barnes on the NBC sitcom "Community," will give a performance at 9 p.m.

Tickets for the show are $11 for students with an ID, $21 for RIT faculty and staff, and $31 for the general public.
The festival will conclude Sunday, Feb. 5, with a 5K race at 10 a.m. and a Super Bowl Party at 5 p.m. in the Gordon Field House.
