Rachel DeGuzman, director of advancement and external relations at Rochester City Ballet, in Rochester, is one of the 14 participants chosen from a national pool of competitive applicants.
LDI will meet throughout the year to explore the topic "Know and Connect with Community." The 2012 class will present its findings at APAP|NYC 2013, to be held Jan. 11-15, 2013.
LDI serves mid-career professionals with goals of leadership positions looking to shape the future of the performing arts presenting field. Through research and comprehensive explorations, participants will work on their leadership capacity and strengthen relationships within the communities they work. They will attend five collaborative inquiry sessions this year to examine the chosen topic. Each session will be co-facilitated by Bethany Godsoe, NYU RCLA executive director, and Theresa Holden, co-director of Holden and Arts Associates.
