Theatre Young Kids Enjoy will present the “Skippyjon Jones Snow What” musical at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Nov. 11; 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 12; and 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Jewish Community Center, Hart Theatre, 1200 Edgewood Ave., Brighton. The show is based on Judy Schachner’s book of the same name, published in 2014.

The musical is a twist on the fairy tale “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” and is recommended for ages 3 and older.

Skippyjon’s alter ego Skippito Friskito, and his friends the Seven Chimichangos, must rescue Nieve Que (Snow What), battle the evil dragon and defeat the Bruja.

“At TYKEs, we typically mount our own productions using local professional actors, but once a year we bring in a show from New York City,” said Freyda Schneider, TYKEs director and founder. “This show comes to us from TheatreWorks USA.”

Veterans are invited to attend the Nov. 11 shows at no cost in honor of Veterans Day. The 4:30 p.m. show Nov. 13 will be American Sign Language interpreted.

Tickets are $16 for general admission; and $15 for JCC members. Subscriptions, school shows and group sales are available at discounted rates.
