Women Helping Girls, a program of the Greater Rochester Branch of the American Association of University Women, will host a conference and presentation for women and teens April 8 at Kodak Center, 200 W. Ridge Road, Rochester.
Actress Grace Byers will hold two panel discussions, a keynote address and a Q&A session from noon to 3 p.m. focused on “Grace Before Judgement,” or how women and girls can uplift and support each other. Byers is known for her role as Anika Calhoun in “Empire.” Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for students.
Susan Rice, former U.S. Ambassador and national security adviser for former President Barack Obama, will speak at “An Evening with Susan Rice” at 6 p.m. and participate in a moderated conversation and audience Q&A. Tickets cost $25.
