Employees at the town of Perinton are encouraging the community to help them donate food by filling up Town Supervisor Mike Barker’s office with donations for the Perinton Food Shelf until the end of March.
The supplies needed most by the Food Shelf are coffee, fruit cups, cookies, cereal, pudding, pancake syrup, cake, mixed, salad dressings, cooking oil, potato mixes, jelly, ketchup, mustard, beef stew, chili, hash, mayonnaise, paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo and soap.
Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Mondays to Fridays at the Perinton Town Hall, 1350 Turk Hill Road. They can also be dropped off from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Perinton Community Center at the same address.
