What is interesting is that the Obama team is asking Mitt Romney to release another five years of his tax returns. It seems to be a strange request because Romney has already released the required amount of tax returns based on the election law. Also, a member of the Obama team, Ms. Cutter, claims that Romney paid no taxes for the last ten years. What is even stranger is that if he didn't pay any taxes for the last ten years, where was the IRS? As of this date, he hasn't been indicted for tax evasion. With this entire ruckus swirling about Romney's tax returns, you would think that the IRS would have looked into these allegations. Is it possible that the Obama team is somewhat misguided?
Now by contrast, most all of President Obama's personal records have been sealed. Most notably, his college records at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard are all sealed. His selective service registration is sealed. His original birth certificate is sealed. His baptism record is sealed. Moreover, his application at Occidental for financial aid as a foreign student under the Fulbright Scholarship Program is sealed, and there remains that nagging question of which country issued his passport to permit him to visit Pakistan. That information is sealed as well.
It seems as if it is a one-way street with the Obama team. Instead of being transparent, like Obama claims, he is very opaque. We know precious little about this man. As our President, aren't we permitted to know more about him?
