Susan Kramarsky, town clerk of the town of Brighton, has turned in 1,000 signatures to run for the office of town supervisor.
Kramarsky has served as Brighton town clerk since 2001. In that capacity, she has increased services, and improved record-keeping and access for all town residents.
Kramarsky has a background in not-for-profit management and has served as a community volunteer for over 20 years for organizations including Jewish Community Federation, Brighton Food Cupboard, Brighton High School, Harley School and was recently appointed to the New York State Local Government and Records Advisory Committee.
Susan Kramarsky has been a Brighton resident for 30 years. She and her husband, Larry Merrill, are the parents of two grown daughters.
