Sutherland alum Nicholas Baca, as part of the Hobart rowing team's novice 8, was named the Liberty League Boat of the Week by the conference office on Monday, Nov. 7.
The Statesmen received a bronze medal in the freshmen event at the Syracuse Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 5. Baca's boat covered the 3-mile course in 17:19.9, behind Cornell B and Syracuse A, in an 11-boat race that included Colgate and Rochester.
