Elizabeth May of Pittsford was solid for the RIT women's soccer team this weekend after she scored her first goal.
RIT competed in the Carroll Classic hosted by John Carroll University and came away with a 1-1 record. The Tigers lost to Grove City 2-1 in the opener, but rebounded to defeat Olivet College 4-0 on day two.
May earned the first start of her career in Saturday's victory and added her first career goal. The score came in the 56th minute and put the Tigers up four.
RIT returns to action at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 with a road game at St. John Fisher College.
