Sabres owner Terry Pegula wants to keep goalie Ryan Miller and forward Thomas Vanek in Buffalo beyond next season, while acknowledging both players will have a say in determining their futures.
"Yes, we want them here," Pegula told the Sabres-controlled segment broadcast on Buffalo's WGR-Radio on Tuesday. "I can tell the fans I'm concerned, too. ... They have a say in that decision. What that decision is? No one's been re-signed. So we're still working."

Senior lacrosse players from across the greater Rochester area closed out their high school careers at the sixth annual Herb Fitch Senior All-Star games at Corbit Field Friday night. Both the boys and girls games were close in score, but more importantly, the players enjoyed themselves.
“It’s weird that that was the final (game), but it was a good, happy experience,” Canandaigua’s Lauren D’Amore said. “It didn’t really count for anything, but it was a lot of fun.”
