The Brighton Police Department reported the following incidents from Feb. 9 to Feb. 16:
Feb. 12-15: A suspect pried open the door to an unoccupied apartment and rummaged through the studio apartment in the 2100 block of Monroe Avenue.
Feb. 2-9: A suspect or suspects stole a Fisher snowplow from a back parking lot in the 1500 block of Elmwood Avenue.
Feb. 10-11: A suspect stole a laptop computer off the floor of a vehicle on Vista Costa Court. There were no signs of forced entry.
Feb. 10: A suspect stole a bag containing credit cards, a driver's license and passport from the victim's unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of North Landing Road.
Feb. 13-14: A suspect or suspects stole a locked Honda Civic from the parking lot of an apartment complex on East Squire Drive. No broken glass or other evidence was left behind.
Feb. 11-13: A suspect or suspects smashed the driver's side window and damaged the ignition in an unsuccessful attempt to steal a Honda Civic from an apartment complex parking lot on East Squire Drive.
Feb. 9-10: A suspect or suspects stole copper and end caps from water hydrants and 400 brass screws from lighting fixtures at Renaissance Apartments in the 2500 block of East Avenue.
Feb. 9: A suspect stole a GPS unit and satellite radio from a victim's unlocked vehicle on Whitney Lane.
Feb. 9: A suspect smashed the passenger's side window and stole a netbook computer and bag off the front seat of a victim's car in the 2200 block of East Avenue.
Feb. 14: A suspect stole a handheld computer out of a victim's bag while she was working in Tops in the 1900 block of South Clinton Avenue.
Feb. 15: A suspect stole a wind chime that had been hanging on a victim's from porch on Woodsmeadow Lane.
Feb. 16: Miken Palmer, 29, of Fairport, was arrested on stealing a blank prescription form from a doctor's office in the 900 block of Westfall Road.
