Ellen Rosen of Pittsford is the new director of University News Services at Rochester Institute of Technology.
She joins RIT from the Rochester Business Alliance, where she served as the vice president of marketing, communication and membership. She previously served as the assistant managing editor for business and technology news at the Democrat and Chronicle, as well as assistant metro editor and as a reporter, also with the Democrat and Chronicle.
Rosen earned her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Rochester.
