Jewish Federation meeting planned

Event highlights

1 The Jewish Community Federation of Greater Rochester’s annual meeting will feature keynote speaker Uriel Heilman, managing editor of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, who will address “The Obama-Netanyahu Dynamic.”

2 The Federation will present Young Leadership Awards to Brighton residents Marjorie Goldstein and Daniel Kinel. Goldstein co-chairs the Federation’s Lion of Judah giving society and serves on the Lion of Judah endowment committee. Kinel serves as chairman of the Federation’s Israel committee and was a young leadership executive council member from 2003-2005.

3 The Federation  is presenting the Elmer Louis Award, honoring outstanding programs in the Rochester Jewish community, to the JCC Ames-Amzalak Rochester Jewish Film Festival and Tempro Development Company, an affiliate of Temple B’rith Kodesh.
