The fourth annual town of Brighton Canal Festival will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15. at Meridian Centre Park, 2025 S. Winton Road.

Hear stories of historical re-enactors portraying canal boaters; see a performance by the Okey Dokeys at 11:30 a.m.; and have some good old-fashioned fun playing games, riding ponies, enjoying food, and learning about the historic Erie Canal. Kite flying is encouraged.

All activities are free. Concessions are available for a fee.
