Local arts organizations team for 'Nutcracker'

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester City Ballet and the Bach Children's Chorus are rehearsing for their joint production of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker."

This year's show is the 13th annual presentation, and according to a press release is the only "Nutcracker" in the Rochester area.

Performances will take place between Friday, Nov. 25 and Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, 26 Gibbs St., Rochester. Tickets range from $10 to $62, and can be purchased at the RPO box office, 108 East Ave., by phone at 585-454-2100 or by visiting www.rpo.org.
